Our story

We were raised by two women who never ran a business, but somehow taught us everything about building one. This one. Our nani, Usha, painted her world into being, with brushes and a quiet kind of inner joy. Our dadi, Pushpa, stitched clothes for a family of many, turning bits and worn-outs into reincarnated newbies.

What they passed down wasn’t just art, it was a way to make beauty out of very little. uush is the inspiration of both these remarkable women woven together. It is our way of honouring them.

We use breathable, natural, high-quality, and painstakingly sourced fabrics and materials. The kind that age gently, like memory. Nothing loud. Never hurried. Made the way things used to be. To be worn, reworn, and handed down.

Our grandmothers wasted nothing, and neither do we. Every leftover bit finds a second life, as jewellery, accents, and little keepsakes.

uush is not just what we make. It’s what we love. What we hope you’ll love. uush isn’t just a name. It’s the weight of two warm palms on our backs, telling us, gently, to go make something. Something real. Something lasting.

uush is as much ours, as we want it to be yours.
